Video: Watch Jennifer Lawrence Fall Up The Stairs On Her Way To Accept An Oscar

Jennifer Lawrence, 22, became one of the youngest winners of the Best Actress award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook alongside co-star Bradley Cooper who was nominated for Best Actor but lost, if you can call it a loss given his competition, to Daniel Day-Lewis.
On the red carpet on the way in, speaking to one of several live feeds, Lawrence was barely able to talk about her outfit. Asked by AP Live to talk about her dress, she looked confused and said of the Dior gown “Well… this is the top and this is the bottom.”
She instantly became more adorable when she tripped UP the stairs on her way to accept the award she won on Sunday, her second time being nominated which in her early 20s is an achievement in itself. As her name was read, she did the hugging bit and struggled with her unwieldy dress that was humongous, heavy, and clearly a challenge to walk in because she fell and stayed down at which time Hugh Jackman and Cooper both ran to her aid. She got up and waved them off.
The actress opened her speech by acknowledging it and here’s the video: “You guys are just standing up because I fell and that’s really embarrassing but thank you very much… This is nuts! Thank you to the women this year, you are so magnificent and so inspiring!”
