Watch: The Voice Season Four Teaser Trailer With Shakira & Usher
It was revealed earlier this year that The Voice judges Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green had been fired and would be replaced by Shakira and Usher. One got the feeling that this news leaked months early. Moreover, the new judges were probably still in negotiation when the news broke since these deals don’t tend to be wrapped up until days before the start of filming (for example, Nicki Minaj said during her E! documentary Nicki Minaj: My Truth that she finalised her American Idol deal the day before the first audition).
The new panel is together for the first time in this season four promotional trailer that’s been released the same night as the season three finale. The teaser released by NBC shows Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira (who was probably pregnant already and therefore being filmed from the waist up), and Usher. Season four airs Monday, March 25, 2013.
