Us Weekly: What’s Wrong With Taylor Swift? Why Can’t She Find Love?

November 7, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Taylor Swift covers Us Weekly Magazine shortly after the release of her album, Red. An album replete with doleful and stolen lyrics about the men who leave her. Several men, many of them older, and many of whom she claims have cheated on her.

Rather than admit that there’s probably something wrong with her if she cannot keep a boyfriend, and rather than turning learner-misandrist and blaming the guys themselves, Swift is writing whole albums about how it’s everyone else’s fault she’s unlucky in love.

Here’s the cover of Us Weekly Magazine on which they’re calling out the 22-year-old by saying “It’s not them, it’s YOU!”

The cover says: “Joe [Jonas], Jake [Gyllenhaal], John [Mayer], and now Conor [Kennedy]! How the hopeless romantic falls hard every time and repeats the same mistake. Taylor Swift. Why she can’t find love.”

A source tells the magazine: “All Taylor wants is to be loved. She’s a prisoner of her work. It takes up all of her time. She overworks relationships. She puts so much pressure on them [and] it ultimately kills the deal. Then she’s baffled as to why it didn’t work. It’s like she’s analyzing love like a scientist, rather than just feeling it…  With each relationship, she’s less and less naive about the reality of dating. She is starting to realize it’s not this imaginary fantasy with princes on horses sweeping you away.”
