2013 Oscars Photos: Why Was Kristen Stewart Limping & On Crutches At The Oscars?

Kristen Stewart attended the 2013 Oscars even though she was injured.
The 23-year-old wasn’t nominated for anything since she’s barely worked since she was caught having an affair with a married director (she was hardly a pariah though… while being mollycoddled and her actions infantilized). However, the film during which she had the affair was represented by Stewart and Charlize Theron because it was up for an award.
Stewart looked as unwashed as always so people would know she’s above the awards. Wearing a Reem Acra gown with unwashed hair and simple makeup, the actress took to the carpet before taking place in the auditorium directly behind another potential paramour, Steven Spielberg.
She was on crutches on the red carpet, although she posed without, because she recently injured her foot, and she could be seen limping on stage next to Daniel Radcliffe.
Her make-up artist Beau Nelson told People.com that Stewart “cut the ball of her foot, quite severely, on glass two days ago.” Nelson continued that Stewart was in pain on Sunday and they’d looked for flats for her to wear.
Joel McHale was less sympathetic on Twitter, writing: “Kristen Stewart is limping because she sprained her ankle from being excessively disinterested.”
