X Factor Used Fake Judges Homes; Justin Bieber Says X Factor “Used Me For Ratings”

October 12, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Wednesday’s episode of the X Factor was slightly more contrived than usual, according to Justin Bieber who appeared in cameo ahead of Thursday’s episode on which his personal mentor L.A. Reid was featured more heavily.

Realising he’s only on screen long enough to say a few sentences, he wrote on Twitter Wednesday: “heard we got used for ratings according to Twitter and we arent even on until tomorrow? @xfactorusa could of just told us [sic].”

The subsequent episode did actually require his input, though. But… isn’t that the point in reality television? The anticipation? It’s not clear what Bieber was expecting but the only reason anyone would ask him to be on their show is ratings. Right?

In other news, the homes purporting to be judges homes on X Factor weren’t their homes at all; as in, not even their rentals.

Simon Cowell and Britney Spears’ mansions on the show weren’t their homes at all. In fact, one actually belongs to [baseball] star Alex Rodriguez.

Simon’s [supposed] Miami [home] actually belongs to [Rodriguez]. The baseball star listed the home in August for $38,000,000, but it’s still on the market. Simon’s real house is in Beverly Hills.

It’s unclear who really owns the Malibu home Britney appeared in last night, but one thing’s for certain… Britney does NOT own that Malibu home. Her real home is in Calabasas, many miles away.

As for the other two homes… we can’t say for SURE if they’re bogus, but we’re betting none of the judges wanted their real homes on public display. – via TMZ.

Well, yes, that’s the point. For reasons of logistics and security, they cannot simply permit film crew and contestants to wander around their real, private homes (remember, during Britney Spears’ 2006 Dateline interview, Matt Lauer suggested the cameras could not film the grounds of the property for security reasons).

Regarding the other houses, Demi Lovato’s supposed house looked familiar. It was hard to tell, but it looked like the loft featured on The Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll and The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. May not be the same house, and this is just conjecture, but looks uncannily similar if you discount its old decor. You decide…
